Success!

The photo upload function is finally working - about time! We had a nice second half of the week. On Thursday we went for a walk and had coffee with Annette and Thomas. Despite it being spring we seem to still firmly be in the grips of icy winter weather although a few brave daffodils are out. We spent Friday with Carlene who had the day off work which was great. Her and Dave came around in the evening and I properly got my drinking boots on for the first time. Brilliant! We somehow managed to stay up until 3am, cripes.

For the last two nights we have been making a real effort to get Daisy to sleep in her room the evenings. It's hard going and takes about an hour from 7.30pm but both times she has eventually slept which is wonderful. It means we can actually eat dinner together - result! We give her a bottle at about 10.30pm which she doesn't normally wake up for. Being able to eat whilst sleeping is an excellent trick. I've stopped waking her up at 3.30am to eat and she has been sleeping until 5am-6am which is very nearly through the night. What a little star! She doesn't actually wake up crying but when I can hear her furiously sucking from our room I know it's time to go in and feed her. She then sleeps again until about 7.30am so we are feeling very lucky on the sleep front.
