4.30am is a pretty strange time to take a photo but for some reason Daisy is all smiles and laughter on her changing mat after her 3.30am feed so I took the opportunity to catch a smile.
I spent most of the weekend in bed with a horrible tummy bug which also unfortunately put paid to my night out on Friday. I managed to make it to a bar by work and it was great to see everyone but I had to leave after one drink as I was feeling so rubbish. Boo! It was good that Andy's parents were here or else he would have had Daisy on his own for most of the weekend.
Daisy is off to a really good start to the week. She is in a regular eating routine and is great at night. She's normally asleep by 11.30pm then sleeps until 3.30am when she feeds and is back asleep by 5am and sleeps until 8am. The best thing is that she is now consistently sleeping in her moses basket all night and will even lie down awake and settle herself - with the help of a little rocking of course. She's a little tricker during the day but I'm steeling myself and persevering through the tears (hers and mine) as it will be worth it in the end. No free hands during the day means no ironed shirts for Andy after all!
It's NCT coffee group now (yay!) so we are off on a very quick dash in the rain to Emma's who lives in the next street over.
