It's a big day for Daisy today as it's her eight week check up. It's like a baby MOT plus she also gets injections - eeek! The injections might put her a bit off kilter which won't be nice. She is currently dancing with Grandma oblivious to it all so I'm feeling very mean!
Sunday was my first mother's day as a mum and I got a card from Daisy and we went out to lunch. Daisy normally sleeps over lunch but she obviously decided that mother's day lunch was worth staying up for so spent most of it sitting on Andy's knee contemplating his mixed grill with wide eyes.
Yesterday we went shopping. Daisy slept apart from a quick open of the eyes to check out the make-up counter. I then had a fabulous afternoon - two and half hours in bed snoozing. Ahhhh.
Daisy is really starting to enjoy her playmat (pictured). She didn't use to think much of it but she will now happily play in it, staring at the hanging toys and reaching out to grab them.
