12 week scan

I am a bit late in putting it up (such is the fate of the second child - I really should know better) but here is the newest member of the Ellis family. I'm nearly 17 weeks now and all is going smoothly. I've been pretty sick but happily that has now abated somewhat and I'm feeling much more relaxed this time round - even eating peanut butter if it takes my fancy!

The health system over here is pretty different to the UK, being private it's all high tech and specialised. I have a nice obstetrician at the local doctors surgery here at the Ranches which is handy. She even has an ultrasound in her office. My due date is 27 January - which also happens to be Daisy's second birthday. She is a bit little to understand what is going on but if asked 'where's the bubba' will kiss my tummy.

In a move sure to leave egg on my face, I've been convinced from quite early on that I'm having a boy. We'll find out for sure at the 20 week scan and will post the verdict.
