Backtracking a few days, we attended Katie and Vaughan's wedding last Friday at Chateau on the Park in Christchurch. It was a great wedding and wonderful to see Katie so happy. She looked amazing and her dress was stunning. It was also the first time in ages us five girls from school had all been together so it was fab to see all of them and everyone else too.

Happy Birthday Daisy!

Daisy is 1 today so is officially out of babyhood and in to toddler territory! We took her to Orana Park to celebrate and she had a great time checking out the lions and giraffes. She also patted a donkey and a calf but predictably, the birds were her favourite. Cheep cheep. She had a cake tonight with pink icing and was rather startled when everyone launched in to happy birthday.

It's certainly been an amazing first year with Daisy in our lives. We feel so lucky to have her and she has made us happier than I thought possible.
